+ Must I be involved with operating my business?

Mora Iced Creamery is seeking franchisees who will be hands-on developing their business and development territory, and helping to grow our presence in that territory. Our business model is ideally suited for multi-brand franchisees and existing business owners seeking to expand their business portfolio, with a well-trained manager handling daily operations.

+ Does Mora provide financing?

No, Mora does not provide financing. We can, however, refer you to a third party lender that can assist with your business plan, SBA funding, retirement fund rollovers, and personal property equity investments.

+ What territories are available for development?

Mora Iced Creamery is actively seeking Area Developers in California, Florida, Texas, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina . Other territories will be considered on a case-by-case basis. You may indicate the territory you are interested in developing when completing the Preliminary Information Form.

+ Does Mora assist with site selection?

Once your franchise agreement has been executed, Mora will work with you and a real estate broker local in your area to analyze prospective sites that meet Mora’s criteria. While we can provide you with information needed to make an informed decision, the ultimate decision about your shop’s location must be approved by both you and Mora.

+ Does Mora assist with negotiating leases?

You may seek assistance from your real state broker to negotiate your lease. Mora will review your prospective lease prior to executing it. As with site selection, the ultimate decision of whether or not to accept lease terms must be approved by both you and Mora.

+ How long does it take to become a Mora Iced Creamery franchisee?

Much of the time needed to become a Mora franchisee depends on how quickly you move through the discovery process. Typically it takes between 30 to 45 days for you to fully evaluate our concept, for us to get to know each other and to mutually decide whether or not you and Mora are a good fit. After signing your franchise agreement and finding a site, your shop could be open in 4 to 9 months, dependent mostly on the length of time needed to find an acceptable site.

+ Does Mora offer large development territories?

Yes! We are specifically seeking franchise partners who want to assist in growing the Mora brand by developing defined territories. The size of a territory and number of shops is virtually unlimited, with the minimum number of shops in a development territory being three.

+ How much money can I make?

Mora does not predict the sales or profitability of any new locations. Much of your success will be attributed to how well you operate your Mora Iced Creamery shops and how closely you follow our processes and systems. Because you are making a substantial investment in your business, you should perform any financial projections as part of your business plan.

+ Does Mora have any resale opportunities available?

Mora is very aware of the sensitivity of issues involved with reselling a business. The privacy and security of our franchisees is of utmost importance to us. As a result, we do not publicly advertise available resale opportunities. However, if you wish to develop a territory in which we have resales available, we will discuss those opportunities with you.
